Belle is a big mare. The mouth of this black, purebred Percheron may be tiny and tightly wound; her inner self may be soft little lady bug, but her energy field reveals the mighty Queen Bee of the herd.

Before coming to Chiron, Belle was a work horse and a brood mare, having born five babies. She lost her right eye in a pen accident, and her tail has been cropped to not interfere with the work harness.

She carries her painful experiences with solemn grace, and it is beautiful to watch her as she continues to come into her Medicine Horse power. She holds big space, often working with clients from afar, either standing on the perimeter of the round pen or on the 'outer layer' of the herd.
