A quote on learning mindfulness through working with horses.

Halliday demonstrates connecting with the horse through Conscious Grooming during a Medicine Horse session. Her suggestion to participants is to "look into the horse's eye, and trust the message."
"Conscious Grooming is a quiet and meditative activity, in which participants spend time with a horse, through grooming with typical horse grooming tools or with their hands. It's an opportunity to help bring our balanced, mindful selves to our interaction with the horse. Unlike other equine assisted work, the participant balances themselves before touching the horse physically. This connection is a meeting of two mindful beings."
