Tasha, the gentle old mare, has been presenting for intensive healing and attentive care ever since she came to Chiron. It is not clear what kind of life she had lived before joining the herd, but she is sending out signals of sadness, fear and heartbreak. As if she was in the process of deciding whether to keep living or pass.

It is crucial to give a horse in such condition as much attention, love and care as possible, and encourage them to 'stay here with us' a little longer.
The general suggestion to Wayshow students was: "If you want to practice grooming, acupressure, or equine massage, practice on Tasha. She needs every minute you can spare."
